Meet International Travel Photographer, Rod Black

Phototourism was founded by International Travel Photographer, Rod Black.

Rod is a highly regarded professional photographer/videographer with over 40 years’ experience across various mediums.
His career started in film and moved to corporate advertising photography where he worked with some of Australia’s largest brands and corporations and is still working as a commercial photographer/videographer producing advertising material and lately some television/YouTube series.

International Photo Tours

Throughout the year he enthusiastically shares some of our worlds’ hidden gems with his clients, conducting photography tours in Australia and Southeast Asia.  Since 2020 he has mainly been conducting numerous Photo Tours throughout Vietnam.

In addition, Phototourism is run with the support of an assortment of highly experienced professional photographers.

Our tours program combines the best elements of a modern tour with the added benefit of experienced photographer tour guides. We are fully committed to helping our tour members find the best locations and receive the best photographic support. Our guides are always happy to provide constructive advice and tuition to assist you to achieve your creative photography goals.

Australian Photo Tours

In Australia we have our very popular and successful tours of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Lake Tyrrell, Phillip Island and the Great Ocean Road.  Plus, a photo-tour of Northern Tasmania where you can explore the spectacular sights of Tasmania’s rural, forest and coastal regions with our experienced photographic guides.

In 2024 we will introduce a tour of Central Australia exploring Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and Uluru,

During our tours we provide transport for groups of people between 12 to 24 people with a seated chauffeured mini bus. For individual tours and tours between 1-3 people we offer transportation in modern and comfortable 4×4’s or SUV’s.
