3-day photo tour of Lake Tyrrell

Join International Travel Photographer, Rod Black, as you photographically enjoy a 3-day tour of Victoria's Lake Tyrrell. Learn new skills as you experience sunset, sunrise over the inland Sea Lake. We'll even capture some astrophotography shots if the sky is clear. 

Our Photography Tours may vary depending on the season and weather conditions. However, we have researched a large range of visual and iconic locations to provide an open canvas for your creativity.

Throughout the tour you will be provided with photographic tuition and some technical activities that will help you develop your photographic skills.

​Cost is $825 per person and includes travel, 2 nights accommodation, photography assistance, workshops and tuition. A discount will be available for shared accommodation. Minimum of 2 people required to run this tour. To secure the accommodation please book early.

Day 2
We will rise early to get some first light and sunrise shots. (Depending on the weather) and then return for breakfast and a rest. After lunch we will venture out again to numerous iconic locations.
 
Day 3
Once again, we will be up very early to photograph the sunrise and return back in time for a nice breakfast.
 
We will spend some more time around the area finding photo-ops before returning to Melbourne stopping along the way at one of the historic Gold Field Towns for a bit of exploring.

Day 1
We will leave Melbourne early on Friday, 12 July and travel to Sea Lake, stopping on the way for lunch.
We will arrive at our destination mid-afternoon and check into our hotel which has a common area for workshops and discussions etc.
Depending on the weather, we intend to spend the later part of the day and sunset photographing around the lake and the surrounding area.
That evening we will arrive back at the hotel in time for a great pub dinner and a rest before heading out later for some long exposure photography.
If there is a mostly clear sky, we will be shooting some Astro Photography. However, we have 2 nights to do this so we will be able to decide this at the time.
